Canon UK has debuted a new device that is a bit out-of-character for the company: a computer mouse. Yes, a mouse.

Actually, this isn't the first mouse produced by Canon as it falls within the existing X series of squeaky peripherals. But the X Mark I Mouse is extra special because it isn't just a mouse with 1,200dpi laser sensor. The multi-functional accessory also works as a calculator and a numeric keypad. Maybe later models will cook dinner too.

With Bluetooth 2.0, this handy little device is compatible with both Windows and Mac computers. Set to roll out in November in time for the holidays, the X Mark I Mouse will not be the cheapest mouse with pricing set at £39.99/€48.99 ($65).
