Energy firm fancies a slice of the mobile pie, served up with pre-paid custard...

UK energy company Centrica is expected to announce a pre-paid mobile phone service with Vodafone. The companies are planning to announce the deal under Vodafone's One.Tel brand to attract customers who don't want to sign a monthly line rental contract. The service is said to be going head-to-head with Virgin Mobile and T-Mobile pay-as-you-go services.
