CES: Nokia makes an official announcement of the N95 8GB North American version

I just purchased the N95-3 (NAM) a week or so ago, but actually am still happy with that purchase since I have an 8GB microSD flash card and like the fact that the memory is removable. I do wish I had the larger display seen on the N95 8GB, but plan to stick with the N95-3 for now since I think there will be many other exciting devices coming from Nokia in 2008. I will be meeting with Nokia tomorrow night and will post some photos of hands-on time with the N95 8GB and Nokia N810 Internet Tablet.

The N95 8GB NAM also includes an integrated GPS receiver, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The device will have an estimated retail price of US$749 and will appear in the Nokia Flagship stores and online in a SIM-unlocked configuration. I continue to wonder if any U.S. carrier will pick up these high end Nokia multimedia computers.
