Compaq to ship 333MHz PII Presario
Proof positive that the 333MHz Pentium II will go straight into consumer PCs came today with Compaq's announcement of a Presario that houses the chip.
The Presario 4860 is a mini-tower system aimed at style-conscious users: it is jet balck and packs wraparound speakers into the monitor. A DVD-ROM drive, JBL Pro speakers and 2X AGP graphics card are standard.
Priced from £2,999 inc. VAT, the system will be available from mid-February.
