The turmoil continues at Compaq. John Rando, head of Compaq's services division and the most senior Digital Equipment Corp. official to remain following the acquisition by Compaq, is resigning effective July 1. In a tersely worded statement released Tuesday by the Houston-based company, acting CEO Ben Rosen said Rando "built one of the most motivated and successful service organisations in the computing world."
