Apple's iPad dominates tablet traffic globally, but the iPhone-Android race is much closer on the smartphone front, according to comScore data.
The big question is whether this scenario flips going forward. Without further ado, here are the rankings.
So where will Android play catch-up globally?
The iPad owns Brazil, but that's just one key emerging market. Note that India features iPad share of just 4 percent, but that could just be a connectivity issue.
Other items to note:
- 91.9 percent of iPad traffic occurred over WiFi.
- 47.5 percent of iPhone traffic occurred Wi-Fi.
- iPod Touches contribute significant traffic.
