A British paper exposes the huge energy use to get all those talkers gathered in Copenhagen. Apparently none of the conferees rode a bicycles to the climate talks.

WARMING TO A WARMING FUND

Australia has become another supporter of donating money to an international fund to help poorer nations cope with global warming. Right now the talk is of $10-billion. As one African delegate to Copenhagen noted that's a tiny fraction of what's been spent to bail out large banks, and almost nothing compared to what NATO's spent in the Afghan war and occupation over the past eight years.
