Corel sells Netwinder division to HCC

Corel has sold off its NetWinder thin client desktops to Hardware Computing Canada (HCC) less then a month after it officially launched the products. But Corel is far from abandoning the Linux-based desktops.

Corel has sold off its NetWinder thin client desktops to Hardware Computing Canada (HCC) less then a month after it officially launched the products. But Corel is far from abandoning the Linux-based desktops. The deal states that Corel will inherit a 25 percent stake in HCC, which is expected to float as a public company later this year.
