The article Imperial College develops 'self diagnosis' chip contained inaccuracies which ZDNet News would like to correct. The project is headed by Professor Andreas Manz, not Dr Andrew de Mello as stated. Dr de Mello would like to point out that the chip being developed at Imperial College is not directly comparable with the chip being developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and that the suggestion in the article that the Imperial chip was superior was inappropriate. "Our technology is exciting, so is theirs but they do very different things," Dr de Mello said. ZDNet apologizes to all concerned for the inaccuracies.
