Couch potatoes trade TV for PC

Couch potatoes are giving up their TVs for the PC said a report this week.

A report by US analyst Forrester Research found 78 per cent of interviewees had cut television viewing time to use their PCs. Many said they were developing steady PC habits. The report, called PC Time and Money, also gives the conservative prediction that PCs will draw 12 hours per year from the average consumer's TV viewing time by the year 2001.
