Coverflow for all Mac apps — Oh, the Horror!
Software Architects offers an Interface Builder plug-in that lets Mac developers more easily add the CoverFlow interface to their apps. I could cry!
According to the company, its SA_ImageFlow Software Developer Toolkit will save developers time and money, both good things. A free download is available.
Some developers are really driving Cover Flow forward in their apps and of course, so is Apple. It's in the Finder now.
However, I'm not a big fan of this visual interface, and I admit that I never use it, not even in iTunes where it began.
The thought that every Mac program might make it a preferred view is almost a nightmare.
What do you think? Is Cover Flow the best thing in the best graphical interface in the world? Or more of a nightmare?
