CTIA Wireless: Muvee brings 3D video editing to Android devices

ORLANDO -- CTIA Wireless 2011 is underway in Florida. Getting things started is Muvee, which has just introduced the "first" 3D video editing suite for Android-based devices.

However, Muvee has remained mum about a lot of the specifics, namely pricing and a release date. We do know that these will simply be quick editing tools to "bypass" having to work on a PC (probably just easy stuff that one needs on the road), and facilitated connections to 3D HDTVs. Also, the tools only support compressed 720p HD video files.

So far, these features only seem applicable to the LG Optimus 3G. However, maybe such innovations will push the development of 3D smartphones forward.
