IDC estimates that Danish outsourcing revenue exceeded DKK 9 bln ($1.6 bln in US dollars), while growth reached almost 30% in 2004. A substantial share of the growth comes from the large deals signed in 2003, including CSC's acquisition of SAS' Scandinavian IT Group and contracts with ISS, Tryg-insurance, and PFA, and IBM's contracts with Nordea, SDC, and several others. Because of these mega-deals the large outsourcing vendors account for the majority of growth.
