Dell has unloaded a slew of new LED-backlit and HD monitors ready to roll out this fall, which are intended for multimedia "consumption and creation."
For starters, Dell is adding a trio of LED displays to its Studio collection for commercial and professional purposes. The 22-inch ST2220, 23-inch ST2320 and 24-inch ST2420 are all intended for producing "cinematic quality pictures," plus use while playing games and editing photos. Each of these Studio series screens boast the following specs:
- Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 resolution
- 16:9 aspect ratio
- 7,000,000 to 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio
- 5ms response time
- Connectivity: VGA, DVI
- Intuitive touch controls on bottom right panel
- Energy Star 5.0 rating with arsenic-free glass and mercury-free panels
Add some HDMI connectivity to each of these displays and you have three new ones: the ST2220L, ST2320L and ST2321L monitors.
To round things up, Dell is also introducing the a pair of new 20-inch HD monitors. Both the IN2020 and IN2020M sport a resolution of 1,600 x 900, a 5ms black to white response time, a contrast ratio of 8 million to one. The Energy Star 5.0-certified displays can also be tilted to the user's preferred viewing angle.
The differences come down to connectivity. The IN2020 monitor sports VGA while the IN2020M gets DVI action.
All of these displays are available now, starting at $149.99 for the IN2020M.
