The Social Web is helping Democrat runners-up retake center stage. Al Gore (two term Vice-President and 2000 candidate for President) is currently featured on the Yahoo homepage and John Edwards (2004 candidate for Vice President) is moments away from addressing Gnomedex in Seattle.

At Yahoo, Al Gore poses the question “Can we reverse global warming?” and is standing by for a group discussion at Yahoo Answers; Yahoo stresses that “This is the real Al Gore!”

At Gnomedex, John Edwards will be delivering a luncheon keynote and “fostering discussion over how technology could and should play a role in our world”; Gnomedex stresses that Edwards will “quickly turn his time over to the Gnomedex audience, fielding questions.”
