Dr. Solomon's gets a tonic with record profits
UK anti-virus firm Dr Solomon's has reported profits for its September-November financial quarter.
Operating profit was £3.2 million, up 69 per cent year-on-year while turnover jumped 71 per cent to £14.8 million.
Key features of the quarter included the acquisition of DataWatch's Virex and netOctopus product lines. The plan is for the Solomon's engine to be integrated into the Virex line.
"The performance of the retail product in the US is particularly pleasing," said Geoff Leary, Dr Solomon's chief executive.
