Dropbox is staffing up again with a new addition to its executive deck.

The San Francisco-based private company has hired its first vice president of product, who happens to be a very recent Twitter alum.

Todd Jackson most recently led Twitter's content and discovery team, which was described to organize more than 500 million Tweets each day.

Jackson's social media experience goes back even farther.

Prior to Twitter, Jackson worked at Facebook, where he was involved in redesigns of the social network's core features, including the News Feed.

If that weren't enough, Jackson also worked on product teams at Google -- most prominently on the Gmail team.

In his new gig, Jackson will be leading product management, overseeing the building and scaling of Dropbox products.

Jackson will be reporting into Dropbox CEO and co-founder Drew Houston.

Just last week, Dropbox picked up another tech industry veteran, Thomas Hansen, who joined the cloud company from Microsoft where he as vice president of the Small and Medium Business organization.

When he starts at the San Francisco-based company in August, Hansen will be in charge of the direct sales and channel team for Dropbox for Business.
