During the first few months of this year, it seemed like there was a handful of new e-book readers everyday. That might have dropped off a bit, but here's a new one that seems to have tech bloggers puzzled.
Images and details have surfaced of the EB710, which hosts a 7-inch color TFT display with an 800 x 400 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. Some of the other features seem standard, including USB 2.0 connection, an image viewer and multimedia player. Then there are some more notable specs like the option for FM radio and the built-in 2100mAH rechargeable battery.
However, not only is there no pricing nor a release date, no one seems to be sure what manufacturer made this e-reader. Device Magazine has some theories about pricing ($300-400 range), but there aren't many more clues out there at the moment. It seems too real to be a hoax, but until we know more about what this e-reader can do, it's questionable how popular or worthy this device will be should it fall within that price range.
