Consumers, homes and businesses rely on Emerson for a myriad of things. Founded in the United States in 1890, Emerson is a global company that uses technology and engineering to provide innovative solutions for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and consumer markets.

With the worldwide growth of 3G and billions of fiber-optic installations underway to gain voice, video and data capabilities, power reliability for these emerging telecommunications networks is essential--and Emerson's power network infrastructure has never been more critical.

Emerson Network Power, a business unit of the St. Louis-based Emerson, provides businesses around the world with power components, connectivity and precision cooling to address their power reliability requirements in today's increasingly connected business environment.

Earlier this year, Emerson launched its NterpriseIP Solution for Internet Protocol (IP) telephony and Power over Ethernet deployments. Customers can choose from its range of configurations designed to support current infrastructures and next-generation Voice over IP networks.

Serving some of the biggest names in telecommunications networks, data centers, health care and industrial facilities, Emerson's clients include the Tokyo headquarters of global investment banking firm Goldman Sachs.
