The Windows 7-based SmartPaddle has gotten a few upgrades. The most obvious is the larger, 11.6-inch capacitive multi-touch display.
Everything else on this portable machine is rather standard for a higher-end tablet these days, but definitely not worthy of the exorbitant price tag, which you'll see in a second. Before we get there, here's a look at some of the SmartPaddle's specs:
- Intel Atom N450 1.66Ghz processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 64GB SSD
- Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR
- Mini-HDMI connectivity
- Five USB 2.0 ports
- 5-hour battery life
- Wireless keyboard included
The SmartPaddle will retail for €1,290 ($1,833) - at least in France. No word about a North American release plan just yet.
