Just a short note to others who might have hardware similar to mine. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my HP Pavilion dm1-3105ez no longer connected to my wireless network. A bit of investigation showed that it wasn't seeing any wireless networks, and a bit more after that showed that the driver for the Ralink 5390 WiFi adapter wasn't being loaded. Strange, I know this was working because it was something I had been watching, that driver was just added in the Linux 3.0 kernel. I went back and reinstalled Fedora 16 from scratch, and wireless worked. Then I installed all the updates, and wireless didn't work. Oops. Now, I just picked up the latest updates (via wired network), and wireless is now working again. So there must have been a hiccup in the driver bindings somewhere. I don't have all the details about version numbers, but I can say that it was not working when Fedora had kernel 3.1.6, and it is working now that Fedora has updated to kernel 3.1.7.
