Financial Times to launch new investment site
Site to be launched first in English, with French and German editions to follow
A Web site for private investors in Europe is to be launched by Pearson, the company behind the Financial Times, and US firm MediaWatch.com.
The site, to be called Financial Times MarketWatch.com, will be launched in the first half of this year and will compliment the FT.com's existing business coverage.
Financial Times MarketWatch.com will initially be launched in English with French and German editions appearing later. Zach Leonard, who spearheaded the launch of FTYourMoney.com, will be chief executive of the venture.
