What I love about Linux in general, and Ubuntu in particular, is that if you want some software, you can normally find it, install and use it within minutes.
A case in point is my search for podcast software. I typed podcast software ubuntu into Google, second item down is gPodder, fire up the Synaptic package manager, quick search for gPodder, mark, apply, job done.
No downloading, no delivery, no license number, no activation. Even Jack Schofield must be impressed with that ;)
My reason for coming to podcast party 7 years after it started? Lullabot have a really rather good and constantly updated collection of Drupal podcasts, which I mightily recommend. Particuarly if you use Drupal.
