I've been meaning to talk about the Website MPSConnect for a while, not just because it's a good source of information about all kinds of Managed Print Services topics, but because of the terrific MPS jobs bulletin board that they have.
If you're looking for a career in MPS or a career change, there are always a number of positions listed at MPSConnect. You'll find job postings from some of the leading MPS vendors as well as regional MPS providers.
On a recent visit, I found over 200 jobs for Print Engineers, Print Service Analysts, Managed Document Specialists, Consultants, and Sales Representatives among many others. The general economy might not be so great, but it seems like the MPS field is hot right now.
Being a relatively new career choice, some of the job definitions in MPS are still being worked out, so you'll see a variety of job descriptions and some contract jobs as well.
And while you're at MPSConnect, Doc thinks you should check out the sections on Sustainability, Outsourcing, Workflow, and other MPS topics.
