First Solar buys RayTracker

First Solar said Friday that it will acquire RayTracker, a startup that provides tracking and photovoltaic balancing systems technology.

No terms of the deal were disclosed.

RayTracker is an Idealab company. First Solar said RayTracker's entire employee base will join its engineering, procurement and construction unit.

RayTracker provides system modeling, software engineering and product development.
