Five Years Ago: Dell grows Limerick plant
Dell has said it is expanding its systems plant in Limerick, Ireland and will build its fourth worldwide plant in Austin, Texas.
The Limerick factory will expand by 7,500 square metres to 28,000 square metres, the size of six football pitches. Dell also announced today it has shipped its two millionth system since it began production in Europe in 1991.
