For 86% of expecting parents search engines are primary sources of informarion

86% of parents-to-be and 81% of college students seeking information turn to Web search engines first, followed by friends and family or offline media. Parents-to-be are generally searching for information on pregnancy, which 68% say they find in books, 53% get from friends and family, and 37% find in magazines.

86% of parents-to-be and 81% of college students seeking information turn to Web search engines first, followed by friends and family or offline media. Parents-to-be are generally searching for information on pregnancy, which 68% say they find in books, 53% get from friends and family, and 37% find in magazines. Students are looking for information online that 64% of them also find from friends and family, 36% find in newspapers, and 24% get from TV, Yahoo! Search Marketing survey said.
