Ford Sync getting vocal stock quote, horoscope and movie listing updates

Ford continues to blaze the way for talking cars. The American auto maker has announced that the interactive Sync system will get some additional vocal services, including stock quotes and horoscopes.

Last month, Ford announced a Sync AppLink program, opening communication between the Sync system and Android and Blackberry devices. This app also involves voice command over programs like Pandora and Twitter.

The new services this time will pop up in the cloud-based Traffic, Directions & Information (TDI) application. Drivers will soon be able to hear real-time stock quotes, new movie releases and local showtimes, and direct access to rental car companies, hotels and airline hotlines. Not to mention the ultra-necessary horoscope feature.

Flight time updates seem helpful, but horoscopes while driving? Really? Maybe it will predict you should pay attention to what is in front of you...like the road.
