Frost & Sullivan's third global innovation center (GIC) will be based in Malaysia and is expected to be operational early next year.
The research company has other offshore hubs in Chennai and Buenos Aires.
It seems the Multimedia Super Corridor was a key factor in the company's decision to locate its GIC here.
"Frost & Sullivan's decision to set up base in Malaysia is proof that the MSC Malaysia initiative is a compelling factor in attracting high value investment to the country," says CEO of Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), Badlisham Ghazali. "We welcome the decision and look forward to adding Frost & Sullivan within our MSC Malaysia fraternity."
MDeC is the government-owned agency mandated to manage the MSC Malaysia project.
