Fujifilm Japan has issued a statement addressing late deliveries and a substantially higher number of orders than expected, but it looks like Fujifilm is stepping up on production.

The FinePix is expected to launch in North America this month (with a whopping $1,199.95 price tag). Dpreview reports that the X100 will still hit our shores, but either during the last week of March or the first week of April.
