Without any big announcement, Fujitsu has added the Lifebook TH700 convertible tablet to its portable computer line-up. The company could have made a bigger deal out of this considering it is a fairly solid machine.
Powered by an Intel Core i3-350M 2.26GHz processor, the Lifebook TH700 sports a 12.1-inch WXGA LED-backlit display positioned on a bi-directional hinge for swiveling the screen.
The rest of the specs on the Lifebook TH700 read like a solid list for a standard small laptop, and perhaps even more so for a convertible tablet. Take a look:
- Windows 7 Home Premium OS
- 4GB of DDR3 memory
- Intel HD graphics
- 320GB hard drive
- DVD burner
- 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth v2.1
- Ethernet
- HDMI
- Fingerprint and ambient light sensors
- Spill-resistant keyboard
- Built-in webcam
Battery life might be an average or even weak spot for some, as the six-cell battery is only promised to last up to five hours at a time.
The Lifebook TH700 is available at Fujitsu's online store now for a not-too-steep price of $1,149.
