Getit partners Adaffix to generate leads for SMBs

Partnership aimed at enabling consumers to reach relevant businesses in India through Adaffix's Caller Identification App, which will feature content provided by Getit Infomedia.

Getit Infomedia, a business listing platform in India, last week announced a partnership with Adaffix to deliver higher volumes of quality calls to small and midsize businesses (SMBs). Under the agreement, consumers can reach out to relevant businesses through Adaffix's Caller Identification App (CIA), the companies said.

Adaffix, which plays in the mobile call identification, has over 14 million users worldwide and its CIA offering processes 100 million calls each month. The mobile app is the most popular in its category, offering smartphone users features including caller ID, merchant recommendations after unanswered calls, number block, contacts backup, and enhanced contact info. The app is supported on platforms such as Android, Blackberry, iOS, and Windows.

Under the new partnership, Getit will power information provided via CIA in India and enable consumers to connect with over 6 million SMBs registered in its database. The service aims to provide more information to assist them in making a purchase, reservation, booking, or request a quote.

Elaborating on the partnership, Getit CEO Jaspreet Bindra said in a media statement: "Our partnership with Adaffix is an innovative way to connect the SMBs with the consumers in the mobile first age. This will enable the consumers to attain instant information on the SMB and its category under which they would like to do business with."

The partnership is based on the growing pay-per-call advertising market in India, and I think is bound to open up new avenues of call-based advertising offerings.

Adaffix would join a long list of Getit partners including Google, Yahoo, and Nokia, and telcos such as Airtel, Tata, Reliance, and Idea. Following its recent acquisition of and AskMe from Network18, which is an integrated media network in India, Getit's service now operates out of more than 100 cities in India.
