The Emperor Penguin may have starred in the movie "March of the Penguins" but their habitat is melting away. And, according to the World Wildlife Federation, so is the penguin's population. Here's a general news report on the WWF's findings.

Population counts over recent decades for all four Antarctic penguins are down, one by more than fifty percent. These colonial nesters are having catastrophic breedinf failures, says the WWF. And even those of us who've never walked across miles of ice to catch fish can imagine what that means.
