Amazon's Kindle Fire isn't exactly seen as an enterprise device, but Good Technology is supporting it just in case.

Good Technology, which provides IT management tools to secure and manage a bevy of mobile devices, said it will support the Kindle Fire. IT departments will now be able to manage apps and data on the consumer tablet.

In many respects, Good is covering its bases. The bring your own device movement is huge and tablet shipments are expected to surge. However, Amazon's Kindle Fire doesn't show up on Good's device radar just yet.

Good estimates that 70 percent of businesses are supporting bring your own device (BYOD) programs.

According to Good's latest survey data, Android is being adopted into the enterprise, but lags behind iOS.

It remains to be seen if the Kindle Fire becomes an enterprise device or changes the Android enterprise standings.
