googleimagetagger.com/net/org

What is an "image tagger"?  A quick search led me to a piece of software from Earthmate.com that takes information recorded from a GPS receiver and compares it with the timestamp on pictures to display where images were taken on a map.  Doesn't that sound like something Google could do with Google Earth/Maps, a GPS receiver and Picasa?

Obviously this is only speculation, but it can't be that far away since Yahoo added a similar feature to their mapping product the same day these domains were registered.  What do you think?  Is this domain hinting at a service similar to Yahoo's, or will it be something completely separate that allows users to easily "tag" their own photos?
