Google Maps received a couple updates recently that add to the usability of the product.  The first has to do with the core Google Maps service, and the other is for Google Maps Mobile.

The print button on Google Maps now produces more useful information than before -- and it's displayed more intuitively.  Previously, the when print was clicked, the version sent to the printer had a lower resolution map of the entire route and text directions directly beneath.

The new screen now has three map views along the right and estimated travel times for each leg of the trip on the left.  The final output is much better.

The update for Google Maps Mobile is the addition of real-time traffic data.  You can read more about this update here, or try the online demo here.  Currently the traffic data feature is available in the United States with comprehensive coverage for 30 metropolitan areas, and partial coverage elsewhere.
