Google has quietly rolled out an update to the Android Market that discreetly shows the popularity of apps using a line graph.
The subtle update, added on Monday, shows the popularity of apps by plotting them on a line graph showing how many people have installed the app in a 30-day period. It is currently only active via the web-based marketplace.
The update follows a revamp of the Android Market, announced on the 12 July, designed to make content easier to find. The redesign also introduced film and book rental and download options for users in the US.
