The Indian arm of Chicago-based online deals company Groupon experienced a security breach on Tuesday, Reuters reports.
Groupon's SoSasta was informed of the breach late last week by an unnamed security expert.
At risk: the passwords for all of its subscribers. (The company says it's not sure if e-mail addresses were also compromised.)
The problem has already been fixed, Groupon says, and SoSasta has been informing its members to change their passwords immediately.
The problem seems to be isolated in India, which is good news for the company, now a global endeavor.
