I saw an interesting post this morning on the Vonage VoIP Forum.

A Forum member named "nerdtech" says that he does not want to use the Linksys box that came with his Vonage order as his router.

Nerdtech has a better idea. "Is there a way to set up the Vonage Linksys box as a passthrough, and enable use of the phone, but still be able to use my main server as my firewall/DHCP/NAT server," he asks.

A few other Forum members have answered. Makes for interesting reading.

Is the solution nerdtech is proposing of interest to you? Let's get a discussion going here. Post a TalkBack.
