NVIDIA has officially released the latest addition to the 400-series GPU line - the GTS 450.
The GTS 450 is a replacement for the GTS 250 line, and depending on how much you want to spend you can grab a card either at stock speeds or an overclocked version.
Based on early European pricing I'm seeing, the GTS 450 comes in at around $130 for stock speed cards, and about $165 for overclocked cards. Pricing is obviously tight, because the overclocked cards come in at only a few dollars less than you can grab a GTX 460 for ... so shop around!
Performance seems to be around the region of the AMD Radeon HD 5770, which makes the GTS 450 seem overpriced.
Here are some of the details for the stock GTS 450:
- CUDA cores: 192
- Graphics clock: 783MHz
- Processor clock: 1,566MHz
- Memory clock: 1,804MHz
- Memory: 1GB GDDR5
