Google's Chromecast is a stick that enables streaming of content to phones, tablets, and TVs. It works with smartphones, turning them into remote controls. It plugs into the TV and grabs desired content on the web and streams it to a wealth of devices. It can also stream from phones and tablets to the big TV screen.
Google has lowered the price of the Chromecast for the holidays to $30 (two for $55) and is sweetening the deal for those purchasing one before January 2. The purchase entitles buyers to a $20 credit for movies and TV shows. That new Chromecast in the holiday stocking will only cost a measly $10 net.
