HTC announces Sensation 4G with HTC Watch video store service

HTC announced the Sensation 4G for T-Mobile USA with their new HTC Watch video rental and purchase service. The Sensation 4G will launch this summer.

HTC is rolling out the latest and greatest 4G smartphones and the latest one to join the HTC Inspire 4G and HTC ThunderBolt is the HTC Sensation 4G for T-Mobile USA. While this device has the now standard super smartphone 4.3 inch display, it is a qHD one (960x540 pixel resolution) that focuses on multimedia.

The HTC Sensation 4G will be available in the summer for an undisclosed price. It includes the following specifications:

  • Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core processor
  • 768 MB of RAM
  • 1GB of ROM
  • microSD card slot
  • 4.3 inch qHD display
  • 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash
  • VGA front facing camera
  • 802.11 b/g/n WiFi
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • GPS/aGPS receiver
  • 1530 mAh battery
  • Dimensions: 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm and 148 grams

It has a unibody aluminum casing and really looks fantastic. This may just be my next T-Mobile device, if I can let go of my WP7 ones.

The HTC Sensation 4G also has the new HTC Watch service that gives you access to movie and TV show rentals and purchases. You can watch content on up to five HTC devices. Too bad there is no kickstand to make watching content easier.

You may have also seen this rumored as the HTC Pyramid before this announcement and that global device should be launching in May or June too.
