As reported by Engadget, the weekend update will also include add-ons to the HTC Sense interface, such as 720p video capture, an improved multi-language keyboard, and the manufacturer's signature App Share widget.
Only the HTC Desire will be getting the Froyo upgrade at first, and there's a big catch: you have to have an unlocked device. "Operator-specific" variants will be available in the coming weeks, so if you are locked in with a carrier, you're going to have to wait awhile. Bummer. Users will be notified with an over-the-air update and are recommended to download the package via Wi-Fi.
