HTC has unveiled the HD7S smartphone, a Windows Phone 7-based handset geared for gaming and multimedia consumption on the AT&T network.

HTC Corp. on Monday announced the HD7S smartphone, a Windows Phone 7-based handset geared for gaming and multimedia consumption on the AT&T network.

The device touts a 4.3-in. high-resolution LCD display and a 1GHz processor, which HTC says is with the intention of showing off its Xbox Live (gaming) and Zune (music) capabilities.

It's the largest screen available on a WP7 device, matched by HTC's Inspire 4G, also on AT&T.

Rounding out the multimedia features are Dolby Mobile and SRS WOW audio, high-definition (720p) video capture and built-in kickstand.

The HTC HD7S will be available "in the coming weeks." No word on price.
