The Android-based HTC Sensation is now available on the Vodafone network in the UK.
The handset packs a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel camera, 4.3-inch Gorilla Glass display, HSPA connectivity and Android 2.3 OS, also known as Gingerbread.
Vodafone is offering the device for free on 24-month contracts of £35 or more. At this price, the deal includes 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. Reducing the monthly commitment to £25 per month gives 100 minutes of talktime, 500 texts and 500MB of data but incurs a one-off cost of £199.
The phone also includes an 8-megapixel camera capable of capturing 1080p HD video and the revamped HTC Sense 3.0 user interface.
Vodafone is the first network to launch the HTC Sensation and will retain a period of exclusivity, but a company spokesman would not say how long it will be exclusive to the operator.
