i-mode development comes to Europe

Wireless messaging service provider FunMail has partnered with CMG Wireless Data Solutions to support European i-mode application development. FunMail's messaging system and CMG's wireless service broker platform will help promote and integrate Funmail's email service to European wireless devices. CMG supports i-mode installations and other wireless technologies such as location-based services and WAP. FunMail launched a commercial version of their FunMail messaging service on DoCoMo's i-mode service in Japan in May 2001.
