iAsiaWorks names Dennis Muse president and COO

Dennis D. Muse has joined iAsiaWorks as president, chief operating officer and a member of the company’s board of directors.

Dennis D. Muse 24 April 2001 - Dennis D. Muse, a communications executive who has held executive management positions with ReFlex Communications, MCI WorldCom and MFS Communications, has joined iAsiaWorks as president, chief operating officer and a member of the company’s board of directors.

Muse will spend most of his time in Asia, where he will drive sales and take care of the company's pan-Asian network and Internet data center (IDC) operations. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications, including IP infrastructure and operations.

Before joining iAsiaWorks, Muse was president and CEO of ReFlex Communications, a Seattle-based broadband provider that he built from concept phase to a company with operations in 16 markets and 9,000 subscribers.

As president of MCI WorldCom’s Telecom Division, he was responsible for 100 markets across North America and was instrumental in developing carrier, Internet and corporate relationships.

As president of MFS Communications’ Wholesale and Internet Sales and Support division, he helped in developing and scaling MAE East, an Internet networks traffic exchange facility. Muse was also president of Western Region Telecom. He began his career in commercial and national account sales at Sprint.
