IBM has clinched a $100m deal to provide Shell with its global IT infrastructure. The five-year deal will see Big Blue maintain Shell's IT equipment in Kuala Lumpur, the Hague and Houston. IBM will act as a single source for the petrochemical giant providing servers and storage. The deal will see IBM link up Shell's SAP system and consolidate its developing ebusiness strategy.
