IDC: PC Microprocessor market in Q3 2003

The research study by IDC indicates that Intel closed Q3 2003 owning 82.6% of the entire x86 processor market compared to AMD's 16.5%, an increase of a full percentage point. AMD's share slipped 0.7% during that same period.
