IE9 beta users to get RC via Windows Update

Are you an Internet Explorer 9 beta user? If so, Microsoft is offering you a quick and simple way to upgrade to the RC (Release Candidate) version.

Beginning yesterday, Microsoft started pushing Internet Explorer 9 beta users the upgrade to Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate via the Automatic Update (AU) feature of Windows Update (WU).

Not seen it yet? Don't worry! Microsoft is taking things slowly at the start and the a full rollout will happen over the next few days. Alternatively, download and install the RC manually.

With the RC released, it's also a good time for prepare for the final release. That means testing critical systems with the new browser, and also taking steps to block automatic delivery of IE9 if need be by using the blocker tool.
